Things to Remember when you are feeling lost

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Buffalo chapter.

We all often times feel very lost. When it comes to school, boys, friends and our future careers we can get so stressed that we don’t even know what to do anymore. Here are a few reminders to think of when you feel lost!

  1. It’s okay to not know everything

Sometimes the best things come when we least expect it. Just because we don’t know what may or may not happen doesn’t mean that we are failures. Being lost is completely okay!

2. You are not alone

So many people face the dilemma of feeling lost. We all go through it at some point in our life.Just because you are feeling this way doesn’t mean that there is something wrong with you.

3. There is no time limit

There is no age that you have to have it all figured out by. Take all the time that you need. Many of us stress over the age we need to have things done by. Take things into your own hands and take your time. It is your life and you should get things done when you want to get them done.

4. Making time for yourself is a good thing

Having alone time is the perfect way of finding yourself. Take the time to learn who you are as a person. Feeling lost can actually push you to try new things. Figuring out what you like and don’t like is something that can be done when you are finding your way.

5. This feeling won’t last forever

We all go through ups and downs. Sometimes the downs last longer than the ups. However, you WILL move past this feeling. Sometimes you just have to push through the negatives to find yourself again. There is always light at the end of the tunnel.
