Kimberly Drummond is a woman who cannot be defined in one word. She is sassy, sweet, loyal, fabulous, but she is above all a hard worker! Kimberly is a senior Public Communications major completing her final semester through online correspondence in New York City while interning at Allure magazine! When asked about her internship Kimberly replied, “Being an intern at Allure magazine has got to be one of the biggest dreams I ever had come true from flipping the magazines pages of one of my favorite magazines to me actually working there. It’s so amazing! I love it!” Kimberly will be receiving her much deserved degree this upcoming May.
While at Buffalo State, Kimberly has been a public figure throughout campus life. She was secretary for two years for Spirit Gospel Choir, a student ambassador for the Buffalo State Admissions office, an orientation leader, and if that was not enough, she was a Resident Assistant for several Buffalo State dormitories. Kimberly is a huge supporter of Buffalo State stating, “I loved being a Buffalo State Bengal representing my campus in any way I could. Being a RA and working as a student ambassador and orientation leader gave me the chance to fully love my college experience. I met a lot of good people doing these jobs and I appreciate every encounter I had.”
In the future, Kimberly aspires to immerse herself in the Publishing world in either books or magazines. Although Kimberly is away in New York City living every Fashionista’s dream, she will always be a Campus Celebrity to the tons of people she has graced her warm smile with and her infectious laugh.
