How to Get Through Finals Week, as Told by Beyonce

With spring semester winding down to its last days, we need something to lift our spirits as we drown ourselves in studying before and during finals week. So what better way to do that then advice from Queen B herself?

1.     Drink water

This should always be #1 on your list any time of the year. Drinking water has many benefits, including preventing fatigue, helping you look more awake, and keeping you hydrated. I know you want to grab a energy drink or coffee to help you through the night but try to balance it out and drink a bottle of water instead.

2.     Time Management

Be sure to manage your time well as it may feel like it is just slipping away right from under your feet. Stressing will only negatively affect the way you operate during the day, so make sure you keep note of what must get done each day.

3.     Take time out for yourself

Whether it means jamming out to your favorite Beyonce song or watching TV – just do it! It will help you take your mind off the workload even if it is just for an hour.

4.     Breathe!

Don’t think too hard! Breathe – In & out! You got this! You are smart! Be confident in yourself and in your abilities.
