5 Last-Minute Halloween Costumes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Buff State chapter.

There are some people who have their Halloween costume planned months in advance and buy all the pieces weeks before the big day. Then, there are those who wait until the last possible second because they have no idea who they should be. Don’t worry, we’re here to help. These are some last minute costumes you can do that are easy to put together and won’t break the bank!

1. Rosie the Riveter This costume requires a denim buttonup and a red polka dot scarf (or plain red). For the bottoms, you can wear anything – although, denim or black would complete the outfit perfectly.

2. Pink Shirt Emoji

A pink shirt is all you need. Crazy, right? You can get a wig that resembles the emoji but if you want to go a cheaper route, just wear your hair in any style!

3. Audrey Hepburn – Breakfast at Tiffany  This classic costume is great for anyone who doesn’t mind spending a few dollars. You can wear any LBD and black pumps. For accessories, you’ll need black gloves, pearls, a tiara, and (maybe) those iconic sunglasses. You’ll probably have to buy the gloves and jewelry but you can get them cheap at Party City or a department store like Walmart.

4. Error 404 A marker and white t-shirt. That is all you need for this halloween costume aka easiest and cheapest costume in life.

5. Comic Book Character Make-up and/or face paint is the biggest part of this costume. You can wear anything – just make sure you do up the top half of your body.
