Super Looks of the Weekend

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bucknell chapter.

Instead of your average Saturday looks these fashionistas took their outfits to a whole new level…

With the warm weather rolling in, Abby Schell went for a fun denim one-piece.  This relaxed Asos jumper paired with an off-the-shoulder fitted long sleeve t-shirt shows exactly why overalls are making a comeback this spring.

Another take on the denim jumper was Laura Yoo’s dark-washed romper.  This Free People staple featured a frontal zipper and waist-tie for extra embellishment.  Letting the jumper take the spotlight, she kept it simple with cat-eye sunglasses and white Stan Smith sneakers.

Valentina Acquista sported a killer bohemian inspired outfit this Saturday (April, 2nd).  She played into the look with tan suede boot heels by Franco Sarto.  To follow the trend, her distressed cuffed jeans and cropped bell-sleeve blouse from American Eagle are a must try for anyone looking to add a free-spirted take to their 2016 wardrobe.

Koto Hamaguchi kept in touch with her New York City roots by rocking a chic all black look to Super.  Staying cool in the weekend heat, Koto wore a flowy dress featuring a floral lace pattern from Urban Outfitters.  To top the dress off, her Helmut Lang jacket with exposed silver-tone hardware added to the sleek moto vibe.

2000s to Now…

Julieta Robinowitz (left) and Barlcay Wohlstetter (right) matched in their 2000s inspired outfits all weekend long.  On Friday (April, 1st), Julieta kicked off the weekend with light-washed distressed boyfriend jeans from Free People and a fun Barbie Doll graphic tee from Forever21.  Her retro Adidas kicks also played up the look.  Along with Julieta, Barclay wore a fitted jean skirt from Vince Camuto and an adorable ice cream cone t-shirt made by Wild Fox to send cool vibes during the weekend heat.

Saturday (April, 2nd), the retro theme continued with oversized jean jackets lined with plaid (Barlcay) and funky patches (Julieta).  Barlcay also showed off her yellow cat-eye sunglasses by Nasty Gal

Coincidentally, Kate Hudson was seen wearing the same funky shades this spring!
