Time Management Tips for the Summer, as Told by Gilmore Girls

If there’s one thing college students never seem to have, it’s time. Especially now that the end of the semester is looming over our heads. But don’t worry! Thanks to our sponsors, HBCU has 6 time management tips to help our fellow terrier make it to those lazy-hazy-crazy days of summer!

1. Stay Organized

The last few weeks of school should be spent finishing that pesky term paper and hanging out with friends. It should NOT be spent looking for your bio notes or tearing apart your room searching for your student ID (we like this wallet from Vera Bradley so we know where our ID is at all times). Make sure to stay organized so no time is wasted! Check out this article for additional organization tips.

2. Wake Up Early

The only way to get more time, is to make the time. That means coffee, coffee, coffee! And although we’d prefer all that coffee in an IV, we think this CamelBak travel mug is a bit more practical.

3.  Waste The Right Kind of Time

There are some things you should just do…like shaving (if that’s not your thing, that’s cool too). We like this shaving cream from Pure Silk! The point is, if it’s something that makes your stressful day a little better, you should do it. Even if it’s small. Otherwise you may just have a 1 am breakdown in Mugar.

4. Dual Purpose Products

Time is defenitely not on our side especially when it comes to things like doing laundry or putting on makeup. That’s why products like this one from Brappz are so great- they serve multiple purposes!

5. Cut Travel Time

Because the only worst thing than spending an entire day in the library, it’s spending an hour walking to the library. If you have to go somewhere, make it quick with apps like Spot which helps you travel on a budget.

6. Stay Focused

Procrastination is a college students cryptonite. But, when you’re really crunched on time, even errands can feel like a distraction. Site’s like Monthly Gift will send what you need right to your door without taking you away from your work!

And if you want to make the next weeks a little less stressful, check our social media pages for a chance to get some of the following product:

Good luck with finals! And rember there’s only two short weeks until…
