Overdrive 2.0: Jam and Dance Showcase

Are you a fan of the hit dance show America’s Best Dance Crew? Then check out the Overdrive Dance Showcase this Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Tsai Performance Center (685 Commonwealth Ave.)! Phunk Phenomenon from season six will be the headlining act, with DJ Ex from New York, and MCs Chad “Voltron” Shabazz from Bulletproof Funk and Jaja from Phunk Phenomenon. Hosted by Boston University’s Bulletproof Funk and Unofficial Project, the dance showcase will feature one-on-one b-boy and all-style dance battles and performances all day in a two-part event comprising the daytime battles from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the nighttime showcase finals from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets for the first part of the showcase are $6, $12 in advance for both parts or $15 at the door for the second showcase.
