HCBU celebrated our 5th birthday yestarday, marking five years of actively being a Her Campus chapter. Of course, the celebration called for all things pink— especially pink manicures! So we’re kicking off this #ManiMonday with a pretty in pink mani that would make Elle Woods proud! To achieve this mani, use nail striping tape to separate sections of your nail into two sections. Paint the two halves separate shades of pink— we used Sally Hansen’s “Pink a Card” for the pale pink on the bottom of the nail bed and “Aflorable” for the tips. After letting these coats dry, the nail striping tape was removed, revealing a negative space separating the two halves. Apply a top coat. Accent nails were created using gold crown nail decals and the Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art pen in black. After securing the decals into place and letting the nail art pen paint dry, apply top coats to those nails. And there you have it!
