FALL TREND ALERT! Celebrities such as Lauren Conrad, Lo Bosworth, Ali Fedotowsky, Sarah Michelle Geller, and Kristin Cavallari have always been known for their signature long locks. Seriously. A person could simply walk into a salon without a reference picture and request the “Lauren Conrad,” and the stylist would know what to do.

However, these women have recently made big buzzes in the hair industry- and I’m afraid to say that you may have to be more specific next time you request the “Lo Bosworth” without having to think twice. But it’s a good thing- trust me!

All of these lovely ladies have made the choice to drastically cut their hair into shoulder length lobs (longer bob). The cuts vary on each celeb (layer-wise), but they all have similar features such as disheveled, unique, choppy ends and long bangs. Oh, and maybe the fact that they are all blonde. Dark haired girls- don’t let this stop you from making the cut! It would look fantastic with every hair color.

Making the chop is a great decision if your hair is chemically damaged from color and/or heat styling. I, personally, cut my hair off last year, and now that it’s growing out, it’s the healthiest it has ever been.

I genuinely enjoyed the shorter ‘do; it was so much more low maintenance. It worked well with my routine because, I’ll admit, I’m very lazy when it comes to my hair. I’m a wash-and-go type of person, and also a dry shampoo person.

With shorter hair, it was so easy to rock the messy waves. Salt spray and a curling wand are your best friends with this haircut! The lob is not too short, so you can still fixup braids, ponytails, and up do’s (with the help of a few bobby pins, of course).

If you’re bored with your current style, make an appointment at the salon and consider this look!
