Come support Boston University’s Students Against Human Trafficking and Mishaal in a 5k Charity race on the Boston Esplanade. BU students and the public can enjoy music, face painting, food, Rhett, and a beautiful walk or run on the Esplanade. The race will begin at the bottom of Silber Way Overpass behind Towers (140 Bay State Rd.) and SED at the corner of Back Street and Silber Way. There are meters for parking along Bay State Road and Commonwealth Avenue. Registration begins at 10:30am and ends at 11:30am. The race will begin at 12:00pm. The registration fee is $15 for students and $20 for non-students. This fee includes a “Real Men Don’t Buy Girls” t-shirt, a race bib number, food, and more! The rest of the fee goes to Somaly Mam, an organization that raids brothels and educates Cambodian girls, and Trust to Reach the Unreached, an organization that provides education and economic opportunities for girls in India. Participants may register at the GSU Link from April 17th to April 27th from 11:00am to 4:00pm or at the race. Please support a great cause!
