There are always so many exciting events going on in Boston that it’s often hard to keep track of them all, so if you’ve been wanting an excuse to explore the city then you’ve come to the right place. Here is a comprehensive list of the best upcoming events in the Boston area.

1. Ed Sheeran Concert

Yes, you heard me right. Ed Sheeran is coming to Boston on September 22nd, and will be performing at TD Garden right in the city at 7:30pm. Don’t worry if you don’t have tickets yet, because you can still score some online! Honestly, who wouldn’t love some Ed Sheeran to start off their weekend? For more information, look here.

2. Cider Donut Run

Marathon Sports in Cambridge, MA is hosting a Cider Donut Run on September 27th! New Balance has partnered with Marathon to host this event, which is basically just a public run club followed by a donut eating session. What more could you want? Even better, there will be donut on-the-string eating contests that will gift the winner awesome prizes from New Balance. However, anyone who attends has access to the post-run goodies, as well as beer (if you’re 21+) and cider. Click here for the details.

3. College Night at the Museum of Science

The Museum of Science is hosting a College Night on September 22nd, from 5pm to 9pm. Admission to the Museums’ amazing exhibition halls are free for any student with a valid college ID (including the Theater of Electricity, Live Animal shows, and a Boston Duck Tour)! 5. Doggone Halloween Costume Parade

Yes, it’s happening again. On October 27th by the Downtown Boston BID, there will be a truly amazing parade that basically consists of a bunch of adorable dogs in their Halloween costumes. I couldn’t dream up a more perfect event if I tried. The parade will run from 12pm to 2pm, and will award prizes to the dogs and owners with the best costumes. Fear not though, every dog who enters will be receiving a special treat! To get more details on the parade click this link.

6. Pumpkin Palooza

The Lawn on D is hosting their last big event of the season with the Pumpkin Palooza on October 28th, from noon to 11pm. There will be Halloween-themed activities for all ages, along with live music, and more soon to be announced!
