April 14, 2013 - 3:02pm

The greatest event that happens every year on this beautiful Monday is finally here! Marathon Monday is a day of joy, celebration, and excitement. Hopefully by now you’ve picked out a place to watch the runners do the impossible. But if not, here is a guide so you can have a great time tomorrow! Heartbreak Hill – not actually called that…Heartbreak hill is where the marathon finally starts getting really difficult. If you want to see the runners go through what is probably the hardest mile they’ve ever had to run, Mile 20-21 is heartbreak hill. Located on Commonwealth, this mile is actually in Newton. It’s not very crowded because it’s far from campus, but it is very inspiring to watch! READ MORE

10 Songs We Hate to Admit We Love

By Lauren Force
April 12, 2013 - 12:00pm

We all have those songs we’re ashamed to admit are on our “Top 25 Most Played” on iTunes (Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus creep into mine, unfortunately). Yet, when these songs come on, we can’t help dancing around like idiots and blasting our stereos to ungodly volumes. Here’s a sneak peak of the top 10 songs I really want to hate, but I secretly (or probably not so secretly) actually love. Don’t Cha by Pussycat Dolls Any song whose chorus consists of several lines similar to “Don’t cha wish your girlfriend was ____ like me” automatically makes my list of songs we hate to love. Fill in the blank with “hot,” “freak,” “raw,” and “fun” and you get our first song in the countdown. Party in the U.S.A. by Miley Cyrus...

Fusion's Chad Hara

By Melissa Fiszner
April 12, 2013 - 9:00am

The dancers break, lock, and pop to the rhythm, flowing with ferocious grace. Amongst them, Chad Hara (COM '15). On stage, while performing with Fusion (BU’s Hip Hop Dance Group), Chad pulls off an act of confidence that almost intimidates you, yet once you meet him it is impossible to miss the smile casting on his face. “I live on the edge so that I can keep saying YOLO,” he jokes, jittering to the side making sure he has made his friends laugh.
