Join about 300,000 spectators this weekend for the 47th annual two-day rowing race of the year, Head of the Charles Regatta! The 3-mile long race course features almost 2,000 boats with competitors from around the world. This fall rowing festival event is not the only activity for spectators, however. Check out the variety of activities nearby, such as the Eliot Bridge Enclosure, Weld Exhibition, Reunion Village, the Awards Ceremony, the Rowing and Fitness Expo, or even the Food Court! According to the Official Head Of The Charles Fan Page, the course “lines both the Boston and Cambridge sides of the river, allowing plenty of opportunities to watch and cheer for high school, college, adult, and even Olympic crews as they charge one of the most challenging rivers in the sport of rowing.” For more information on the race, please click here.
