10 Struggles Clumsy Girls Face

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

School is hard enough without falling up (yes, up) the stairs on a regular basis or spilling your Starbucks all over your English essay the day it’s due. Especially when everyone else around you is as graceful as a Disney princess. But don’t worry clumsy ladies, you aren’t alone. Here are 10 struggles your fellow clumsy girls have to deal with at BU!

1. Running late to class involves more falling than running

2. Going to the dining hall means leaving with food stains on your cute outfit

3. Walking across the BU Bridge in the snow is dangerous

4. Seriously COM, plastic stairs? Especially during the rain

5. It takes valuable time to do something as simple as opening a door

6. Balancing a book on your head? No way, you can barely hold them in your arms without dropping them

7. People start confusing your clumsiness for drunkenness

8. By now, you’re used to your clumsiness but that doesn’t mean the people around you are

9. It’s impossible to convince your professor you’re smart after falling out of your chair a certain amount of times

10. Awkward moments are most of your moments

If you’ve experienced a majority of these before, you’re probably a clumsy girl. But don’t worry, being clumsy isn’t a bad thing— as long as you don’t mind hurting yourself!
