Why We’re Happy Brady is Back

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

Everyone who is a football fan knows that Tom Brady kicked ass in his first game back on the field for the New England Patriots in Cleveland.  With over 400 passing yards, Brady completely dominated in his first game back. This Sunday, however, is his first game back at Gillette Stadium; home field for the Pats. Here are some of the biggest reasons we are all excited for Brady’s return on the 16th against the Bengals:

His skills: At this point in his career it is safe to say Brady is the best quarterback in the game. While it was nice to see Garoppolo run around for a while, it’s even better to have the G.O.A.T back in action.

How Unstoppable our Offense Will Become: Don’t get us wrong, Jimmy G and Brissett did a pretty good job holding down the fort for a couple of rookies, but the combination of Brady and the New England receivers and tight ends is virtually unstoppable.

Sticking it to Goodell: It’s safe to say at this point that Pats Nation is ready to tell Goodell to shove it where the sun don’t shine, and the best way to do that is to put Brady back on the field and collect W’s.

He’s pretty nice to look at: While it is hard to not see Jimmy G’s gorgeous face every Sunday, Brady isn’t so hard on the eyes either.

The Legacy Continues: Everyone knows that the Brady/Belichick combination at this point is a winning legacy. Belichick took him from a sixth round draft pick to the football god he has become today. If that isn’t a legacy, we don’t know what is.

SUPERBOWLS, BABY: It’s not enough to win; we want to be the best, and the Patriots’ Dynasty is the absolute best. Besides, Brady has four rings to prove it.

It’s hard to imagine that Brady hasn’t been in our lives for four long Sundays, but he’s back and ready to go. Tune into the game on Sunday the 16th to see Tom Brady in his post-suspension home game debut. Kick-off is at 1:00pm on CBS. See you Sunday!
