Ways to De-Stress at The End of the Semester

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bryant chapter.

It’s December and that means break is right around the corner! However, you may be not be feeling blissful due to the influx of group projects, papers, and exams looming over your head. Finals are approaching in almost 2 weeks *screams*. Feeling stressed? HerCampus is here to help you and give you some great stress relief advice.

1. Do some yoga

Yoga is a great way to stay calm and relax. Bryant even offers classes and we 10/10 recommend trying them out!

2. Watch The Office on Netflix

Netflix solves everything. I don’t think we need to say more.

3. Have a DIY spa day in your room

Do a Freeman Beauty face mask and give yourself a mani-pedi. Light a candle (sorry Res Life), and read a magazine or one of your favorite books.

4. Color!

Everyone loves adult coloring books!

5. Plan to get some dinner with your friends

Grab your suitemates and go to Chili’s or whatever place your heart desires

6. Take a break

Put down your notebook and take a quick break. Go outside and get some fresh air.

7. Organize your week

With a million things coming at you all at once during finals week. It’s important to manage your time by making lists of what you need to do and what you should focus on!

8. Hit up the gym and work out

Exercise releases endorphins, and endorphins make you happy! Not a gym person? Take walk around campus with your friends or suitemates!

9. Pet a dog

Go to a local animal shelter in your college town and play with some dogs. You get to de-stress and it makes them happy. It’s a win/win situation!

10. Take a quick nap

Naps fix everything.
