Not sure what to bring home for Thanksgiving break? Don’t worry, we’ve come up with these 5 tips to help!

#1 Only Bring What You Will Need

Thanksgiving break is only 5 days! We know you like having options, but realistically, you don’t need more than 5 cute, warm outfits. And let’s be honest, we know you only really need comfy sweat pants for all of the leftovers you’ll be eating.

#2 Make Your Trip Home Count

Make sure you bring home all of your summery dresses, shorts, and shoes. It’s a great time to make more room in your closet for all of the winter coats and boots you will be bringing back to school now and after winter break too!

#3 Don’t Forget Schoolwork

Try and bring a few of your assignments home with you, and at least get the easy ones done. When you get back from Thanksgiving break you won’t feel as stressed out about studying for exams if most of your assignments are already done.

#4 Don’t Bring Things You Don’t Need

Don’t bring things home that you most likely will have there, like shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, etc. Most likely, you will have this stuff already in the shower. If not, it’s a great way to have your parents buy new stuff to bring back to school with you.

#5 Dress Smart

Make sure you have a really cute, but comfortable outfit for Thanksgiving so you will look nice in family photos while being able to eat as much as you want! If you are going Black Friday shopping too, wear leggings with a tank top and a sweater. This way you will have room for dessert and can easily try stuff on in the store without waiting in the really long fitting room lines.
