Through the six seasons and two movies of Sex and The City, Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha taught us about love, fashion, and friendship. We learned that sometimes all you need is your girlfriends, and that guys can be jerks. Here are our top six lessons and takeaways from Sex & the City:
1. The ladies of Sex & the City remind us to just go with the flow and live in the moment
2. We’re not perfect and that’s okay. There’s nothing wrong with just being who you are.
3. In almost every episode, the women prove the importance of retail therapy (as if we didn’t already know and love that).
5. They advise us to understand and explore our needs. We may not always know exactly what we want, but we should know never to settle for anything less than what we deserve.
6. And lastly, we all must learn to love ourselves first.
