Today is Gryffindor Pride Day.
In the spirit of the day, here are reasons why the House of Godric is one of the four best houses.
Gryffindors roar for the voiceless.
The rivalry between the Lions and the Snakes can be traced back to the first fight.
You remember what that fight was about? Slytherin was killing kids in the name of blood purity. Gryffindor put an end to that.
They’re history makers
As the fact stated above, Gryffindors are the paladins of history, brave and bold they’re not afraid to go for the glory and get their names in history books. One need look no further than the protagonists of the series.
Minerva McGonagall was in Gryffindor.
And everything’s better with her there, no arguments taken.
This house has the best Ride or Die Friends.
They say a good friend bails you out of jail, and a best friend is sitting next to you laughing in a cell. With their daring and do or die attitude Gryffindors are definitely the latter.
Gryffindors know how to have fun.
While The Hufflepuffs may have the closest route to the kitchen, it’s no question that the Gryffindors are the real party animals.
We do not back down.
The house of bravery, Gryffindors do not flinch or cower, no matter how daunting the task. Once they commit to something, they see it through.
Gryffindors are born fighters.
Griffs always put friends over rules. They will throw down to defend their friends no matter what the consequences
They’re not afraid of confronting anyone.
Voldemort? Mountain Trolls? A ten page assignment? Gryffindors will stand fearlessly at your side and tackle any of these.
Not even our friends
Gryffindors aren’t afraid to confront you if they think you’re doing something wrong. Their hotheadedness and cavalier attitude doesn’t really allow them to hold back.
This is a good thing, lasting friendships are cemented in communication and the ability to confront each other and set boundaries. Gryffindors are the best friends to snap you out of making bad decisions while defending you from the rest of the world.
While they can be mischievous and more than a bit chaotic, there’ no denying that Gryffindors have a lot to be proud of. So we sincerely hope this Gryffindor pride day
