7 Delicious and easy recipes and ideas for your hectic agendas

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Broward chapter.

Living in an era where a two-dollar double bacon cheeseburger will be ready in an instant for one to gorge on is one of the reasons why eating healthy is sadly impossible and time-consuming. Especially with the hectic agendas that burden college students, full-time employees, parents, or a combination of all three. Eating healthy has to be a major key (yes, I’m DJ Khaling you) to one’s lifestyle. Making excuses to not eat a nutritious meal or snack will only make our bodies overindulge on fast food and guilt trip us to the vending machine.

Start taking care of your body today, not next week or next year. Once you start to eat good, you will feel good. Motivate yourself by making a list of goals and attain it little by little. It is all about baby steps; you cannot turn into a full on veggie lover over night. Bringing your own healthy snacks to school or work and eating smaller portions with more greens, will give you the edge and is the essence that you will lead you to the transformation you want, not merely physically but also emotionally.

I have embarked on my healthy fit lifestyle after taking a total wellness class in the spring semester of 2017. It took me a course in College to make me realize I need to take better care of my body by feeding it what it truly needs. Yes, I still love my bacon cheeseburgers, just not on a weekly basis. I made time for  quick easy delicious meals and snacks. I started drinking more water and decorating it with fruits for more flavor. I bought cute lunch boxes and water bottles (BPA free) to get me motivated, and it sure did. You know yourself better than anyone else, stick with a plan and motivate yourself. Don’t forget to take it little by little and always have a balance on whatever you do. You got this!  Down below is a list of my favorite deliciously easy healthy recipes and snacks! Enjoy.
