Students across campus have always wondered who is this tall Brazilian soccer player and model, Thales Brito? Where would you have gone to college if you did not choose Brandeis?
I would’ve played soccer for UMass Amherst. I picked Brandeis because it’s a stronger school academically. I also really liked the team when I watched some of the games.
How do you like being on the Brandeis mens soccer team?
It’s great. Everyone is really close. We are basically a family.
How would you describe your relationship with the other freshmen on the team?
We are very close. We share a bond being the same year.
If you could date anyone on your team who would it be?
Jordan Zides. He has a great personality and is an extremely attractive guy.
Who on the team would you never let your daughter date?
Michael Soboff.
Who on the team would you let date your daughter?
Ben Applefield, he is a very good guy.
What do you do when your not playing soccer, off season?
I am either working or training for the season to start.

So word on the street is that you professionally model?
Yes I do.
When did you start?
I started the beginning of my junior year of high school.
Why did you start modeling?
1. People always kept telling me I should try it. 2. I was always very busy with soccer practice and couldn’t commit to a full time job so the modeling gigs gave me quick cash fast.
What is your favorite part about modeling?
Getting to know people and the experience. I get to see a lot things that people don’t get to see.
What’s the worst part about the job?
Taking pictures and being out there. I really don’t like doing that type of stuff.
What are your goals?
I will keep doing it for as long as I can. Right now it’s not interfering with anything so it’s going well.
