The Second Annual Cultural Food Gala

Posted Mar 29 2012 - 4:24pm

If you like anthropology, learning about different cultures, eating food samples from countries around the world or just cheese, then you definitely won’t want to miss the second annual Cultural Food Gala. Last year this event was an absolute hit. This year, double the number of clubs will be involved, which not only means double the food but also double the fun. Seriously, what could possibly be better than learning and eating at the same time? This delectable event will take place this Sunday, April 1st at 6:00pm in Ridgewood A Commons.

Since it’s a celebration of food and culture (two of the best pleasures in life), a variety of clubs will unite in order to provide both. The Anthropology Club, The Cheese Club, Ahora!, TSA, KSA, SASA, SEA and Baso will be hosting the event with food samples as well as information from different cultures around the globe. Kosher food will also be available so everyone can have the opportunity to eat some tasty treats and take a much-needed break from campus dining. Come on down to hang out, experience food from around the world, and most importantly, EAT!
