Reactions to the New Sherman and Einstein’s

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Brandeis chapter.

I’m personally not a big fan of change, so returning to Brandeis and finding renovations to the dining options in lower campus has really freaked me out. Sometimes I just want to return to familiarity, like having seating in Einstein’s and carpets in Sherman. Although these changes make Brandeis look fancier, they’ve really thrown me and my fellow upperclassmen for a loop.

New Einstein’s

1. Seeing the line on your first day back

2. Deciding to peace it and go to the C-Store for a snack

3. But remembering the hills, so committing to the hour long Einstein’s line

4. Realizing you can no longer buy snacks at Einstein’s

5. Finally getting your bagel and coffee only to remember you have to sit in SCC’s hectic atrium

New Sherman

1. Just trying to find the french fries without an awkward interaction

2. Finally sitting down and wondering why it’s so loud, wishing you could just hear the conversation across from you

3. While also shivering because apparently winter came three months early in Sherman

4. Accepting your fate with the new Sherman as the dysfunctional air conditioners drip condensation on you
