3 Fun Animal Videos to Speak to Your Soul this Finals Period

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Brandeis chapter.

Well, the last week of classes and finals period are upon us. It’s a time looked at with dread every year due to its tendency to increase student stress levels, and overall make campus a slightly less fun place to be for a few weeks. But do not despair! I have discovered a foolproof way to beat those blues: animal videos. So, here are my top 3 animal videos I hope will help get your through this finals period.

Hamster Eating a Carrot Coin

This is a minute and 23 seconds of pure joy, as you watch an adorable hamster, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket, slowly nibble away at carrot coin. Be sure to turn your volume up, so you can hear the adorable sound of him crunching through the carrot. This video will resonate with everyone who is tired and stressed, and just wants to curl up with their own version of a carrot coin.

Baby Monkey Riding on a Pig

I’m not sure how this happened, or why, but someone took video of a baby monkey latched onto the back of a pig, and the result is simply hilarious. The visual, coupled with the hilarious song in the background, made me laugh harder than I probably should have. This YouTube channel also has a whole host of other hilarious animal “music videos” I recommend you check out if you are looking for more laughs.

Slow Loris Eating a Rice Ball

I guess I really enjoy videos of cute animals eating food, but this slow loris savoring a rice ball is pretty darn adorable. Look at his big eyes! And his little hands!
