5 Things You Do In Your Night Class

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bloom U chapter.

In my opinion night classes are the absolute worst; especially when your professor keeps you there the entire three hours. It does not matter how good the professor is, nobody can completely pay attention for that long. Sometimes I feel bad for the professor, but only for a second, then I’m back to doing what I actually want.

1. Online Shopping

What better time is there to look for your spring and summer wardrobe then when you’re bored in class. It can be dangerous though, one night I found myself with $150 worth of clothes in my Forever 21 shopping cart. I quickly removed them but I got so excited and it was a good distraction.

2. Homework

I think that doing your homework for other classes is just being productive. I’ll catch up on this class’s materials tomorrow, right? Even though I know it’ll be procrastinated until right before the test.

3. Apartment Search

Sitting in a class bored really makes you think about how fast graduation is coming. For me, graduation means moving out of mom and dad’s place and starting my real job. So for fun in my night class, I have been looking up apartments and imaging how I can decorate it!

4. Watching the Game

I do not follow sports, and I could care less about who scored what. The guys, in class, on the other hand do. As a look around the class, most of the guys have some game playing on their laptops. Right now it’s basketball, I guess March Madness is upon us.

5.  Attempt to remember what the professor said

After doing all of these productive things, you realize that you have not been listening to a single thing your professor has said. After feeling slight regret, you just promise yourself that you will read the book tomorrow!

6. Bonus: Write Her Campus articles

While checking my email, I saw I got something from Her Campus. This made me realize that I haven’t written an article in a while. So what better time than a night class to write an article.

I am a 23 year old senior at Bloomsburg University. I am a Mass Communications major on the telecommunications track and with a concentration in Public Relations.
