Summer Activities For Meeting Up With College Friends

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Binghamton chapter.

5 Things you can do when meeting up with College friends during the summer:

1) Meet up in the City: The city is the perfect place to meet up with a school friend from Bing. More often than not it is the perfect halfway point between you and your college bestie. Explore the city and find something cool to do. The city has endless possibilities. Try scoring same day tickets to a play or wandering around a part of the village you haven’t been to. Central park is also so much fun over the summer. Grab your friend a picnic and a good book and you have awesome plans for the day!

2) Plan a trip to the beach: Whether its the beach on Long Island or the Jersey Shore, grab a couple school friends and hit the sand! This is definitely something you guys don’t get to normally do during school (if it is, you don’t go to Bing) so take advantage of the warm weather, but don’t forget the sunscreen! Our pale sun-deprived skin needs a little time to recover from “Sunny Binghamton”

3) Invite your college friend to your hometown: Believe me, I know you probs think your town is extremely boring but looking at it from the eyes of someone who has never been there. You will have so much fun showing off your favorite restaurant, taking her to a local party and it will be great hanging out without the stress of classes or your next test looming over you.

4) Go out to eat: A fun fancy dinner that none of you had time for during school is definitely a fun way to celebrate summer with your school friends!

5) Catch up on your favorite shows together that neither of you had time to watch during the year! What better way to reconnect with a friend than by watching Game of Thrones?
