Ever get stressed from work and studying and eat your weight in candy and junk food? Well next time try these healthy, delicious, and easy recipes you can make right in your dorm room!

Ladybugs on a Log

We all loved the famous "Ants on a Log" when we were kids. Well this snack is a new twist on the beloved favorite. I know it sounds weird, but it is delicious and addicting.

Ingredients
   Celery (cut into 2-3 inch pieces)
   Strawberry Cream Cheese
   Craisins

Directions
   1. Spread cream cheese onto celery and top with Craisins.

Puppy Chow

Have a sweet tooth? Well let's satisfy it in a more healthy way than a bag of Reese's. This snack is perfect for that boring lecture and will satisfy your sweet tooth to the fullest.
 

Ingredients
  Honeycomb Cereal
  Melted Chocolate
  Powdered Sugar
 

Directions

  1. Cover the cereal with the melted chocolate and pop it in the fridge (or freezer/ice box if you have      

one)

 2. Dust with powdered sugar.

Frozen Strawberry Yogurt

If you are like me you crave ice cream even in the winter time, especially when stress sets in with finals. Next time instead filling up with unhealthy ice cream, try some homemade frozen yogurt.
 

Ingredients
 1 pint (2cups) fresh strawberries (or raspberries, blueberries,...etc.)
 1/3 cup sugar
 1 container (2lb or 4 cups) Vanilla Yogurt
 

Directions
 1. In a bowl mash fruit with sugar. Then stir in yogurt
 2. Then pop into the freezer (or ice box) until solid.

Stuffed Celery

A perfect pick me up during the long stretch from lunch to dinner or the guilt free midnight snack.
 

Ingredients
 1 (8oz) package cream cheese (softened)
 2 tablespoons sour cream
 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
 20 green olives with pimento (chopped)
 Celery cut into bite sized pieces
 

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream. Stir in walnuts and olives.
  2. Spread onto celery pieces or substitute wheat thins or crackers.
No-Bake Cinnamon Rolls

(Warning: Not Really Healthy, but we all deserve a treat)

I know these are not healthy, but with all of the studying and work we do, we deserve a break and a treat once in a while.
 

Ingredients
2 slices white bread, crusts remove
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1/8 teaspoon water, or as needed
 

Directions

  1. Roll the bread slices until very flat. Butter the bread, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Starting on one side, roll up the bread slice until tight. Repeat with the second bread slice. Cut the bread rolls into 1 inch slices.
  2. Mix the confectioners' sugar with the water in a small bowl to make a thin frosting. Drizzle frosting over the bread slices, and serve.
Pretzel Kabob

Perfect for a midday snack, a midnight snack, or a movie night with friends.
 

Ingredients:
40 Pretzel Sticks
40 Green or Red Seedless Grapes
20 1/2" Cubes of Colby Cheese
20 1/2" Cubes of Jack Cheese
 

Directions:

  1. Place 1 cube of cheese and 1 grape on each pretzel stick. Repeat until you have made all 40 kabobs.

Ingredients
8 ounces fresh part-skim mozzarella balls, about 15 balls
8 ounces grape or cherry tomatoes, about 10 tomatoes
10 fun party picks or any long toothpicks
Balsamic vinegar (optional)
Directions

  1. Cut each mozzarella ball in half. Then cut the tomatoes in half.
  2. Stick the sharp end of a pick through a tomato half to the pick. After that, add half a mozzarella ball. Repeat by adding another tomato half, followed by another mozzarella half and finish with one more tomato half.
