Bing-U Secrets was really popular about a year ago when it first started. It’s not a far-off concept – where students of a college campus, specificaly Binghamton, anonymous submit comments about other people. Comments range from compliments to insults to inquiries of who a person is. I like that, sometimes, it can be an uplifting comment and make a positive impact on a person by simply a few words. You never know – you might make someone’s day! (And the person is usually someone you would never talk to…) On the other hand, insults can really get out of hand because the posts are anonymous, yet I never really see any on the page. I think pages like this are great – it positively brings a community together with social media. Although the craze of Bing-U Secrets is over, I still follow the page and the sweet comments always catch my eye!
