The Best Places to Hangout Outside in Bing

Now that the weather’s warming up here in Bing, everywhere you go there are people enjoying the fresh air. Whether you’re looking to sit outside and read or work up a sweat and play some basketball it’s great to be outside taking advantage of these beautiful days at these top spots on campus:

 

  1. The Nature Preserve

    The nature preserve is a great place to spend some time outside! You can take a little hike on the different trails or sit on a bench overlooking the lake and bask in the sun.

    1. The Courts

      There are multiple court all around campus including the volleyball, basketball, tennis courts and even the track. All of these places are filled with people on sunny days and great places to get active outside.

      1. The Quads

        Whether it’s the quad in the middle of New Wing or the one in the middle of Dickinson, it’s the perfect place to hang out and enjoy the sun and fresh air with everyone in your community! The Dickinson Community quad even has a swing set!

        1. The Fire Pit

          The fire pit is located right by C4 overlooking a lake. It’s great for studying or hanging with some friends

          1. Fine Arts

            If you’re looking for a quiet place to study, in the middle of the fine arts building there is a courtyard that is perfect for you!

            1. Right in the middle of campus!!

              From Chenango all the way to the new union, campus is loaded with people sunbathing on the grass or sitting on benches talking on beautiful spring days!
