What To Do Over Winter Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Every year, we all head home for the holidays to spend time with our families, friends, and pets. You get home for Christmas and New Year’s and the fam usually hangs out, but then they commence their usual everyday lives and you’re stuck looking for something to do. You either have a job to keep you busy, or you’re going stir crazy because you have nothing better to do. Well, here’s where we can help! If you don’t have a job (or don’t want to go back to an old job) over winter break, then try some of these:

1. Get all your friends together and go ice skating!

2. If your friends are busy, find a new (or old) show to binge watch.

3. Try new recipes at home!

4. Clean out your old room. It’s always good to do a quick purge, especially around the holidays when you may have gotten new things to just toss in your drawers…

5. Have a paint night: invite your girls over and throw on a movie while you all paint and catch up on life (preferably with wine).

6. Exercise! It’s always a good idea to hit the gym or do some home workouts after spending tons of time with your family just eating.

7. Most importantly: Catch up on all that sleep you missed out on during finals week (or the entire semester…).
