Katie Giacobbi is a senior from North Providence, RI, she’s a Marketing major and working on a minor in IDCC. On campus she’s involved in the following: Love Your Melon Crew, Team Lead of Bentley Sales Team, Bentley Marketing Association, Writer for Her Campus Bentley. Katie’s also a sister of Alpha Phi, and her interests include country music, sushi, shopping, and The Bachelor.

HCB: What would be your dream job?
KG: Probably being a personal shopper for a celebrity, because I just love walking around the mall and spending other people’s money.
HCB: Any secret talents?
KG: I can do a backflip– as I’ve done in the halls of Falcone.
HCB: What was your high school superlative?
KG: I had two. I achieved my lifelong high school goal of being “Most School Spirited.” Then they started to talk about “Most Talkative” in a very negative way, and in my head, I was like, “Wow, sucks to be them…” and then it was me.
HCB: Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
KG: In first grade, I was accidentally put in English as a Second Language because I talked so fast that they thought I wasn’t a native English speaker…
HCB: What is your favorite Bentley memory?
KG: Dancing to High School Musical at DKE pinning Junior year
HCB: What was your last Google Search?
KG: Kani Sushi– it’s the imitation crab that they put in California rolls.
HCB: What’s your favorite place to hang out on campus, other than your room?
KG: You can find me at the Pub at any time during the day, not to drink, but to actually do homework. It’s my secret study spot.
HCB: What’s your most embarrassing moment in college?
KG: It occurs everyday– I have a habit of falling UP the Smith Stairs constantly.
HCB: The last text you sent is what will be written on your gravestone. What is it?
KG: “Screw it senior year just waiting for him to text me back” (with zero punctuation)
HCB: What movie/TV show best describes your life?
KG: I would have to say Awkward because I’m always stuck in a triangle of some sort…
HCB: What’s your favorite 3 AM activity?
KG: Playing Guitar Hero in Collins 301 on any given night. But I can only play on “easy,” so I beat them every time.
HCB: Who would play you in a movie?
KG: Absolutely Vanessa Hudgens, because growing up she was the only teenage actress with dark hair like mine. I was also obsessed with HSM if you couldn’t tell from my favorite memory…
HCB: Who would be your celebrity crush?
KG: Well, I’ve have this weird thing for like my whole life that I could only have a crush on someone who was the same age as me, so ideally it would be Zac Efron… but realistically, it’s Jake T. Austin. I’m pretty sure he’s like 13 days older than me.
HCB: Relationship Status?
KG: Extremely, happily single OR in a complicated relationship with Barefoot Sweet Red
