This week’s campus cutie is JD Towers, a junior from Saratoga Springs, NY. JD is an Eco-Fi major with a minor in History of Warfare. At Bentley, JD serves on the e-board of the Bentley Republicans Club and is a founding member of the Bentley Top Shelf. He is currently studying abroad in Brussels, Belgium for the spring semester.

HCB: Describe yourself in 3 words.

JT: Laid-back, considerate, determined.

HCB: What is your go-to late night snack?

JT: Gotta be a frozen Digiorno pizza: bacon, sausage, and pepperoni.

HCB: If you could have sandwich named after you, what would it be called and what would be in it?

JT: It would be called The Tower. It would have crispy chicken, provolone cheese, bacon, lettuce, caramelized onions and chipotle ranch piled high on an Italian sub roll, toasted.

HCB: What’s your favorite Bentley memory?

JT: Storming the court in Erie, PA when the girls basketball team won the National Championship.

HCB: Describe the weirdest dream that you’ve ever had.

JT: So long story short: everyone in my 8th grade science class was with me and we were fighting in the Vietnam War. Almost everyone died, and then I ran through a door and was suddenly at the top of the Empire State building… and then I woke up.

HCB: Who is your celebrity crush?

JT: Genie Bouchard (a Canadian tennis player).

HCB: Favorite quote?

JT: “Great moments are born from great opportunity.” –Herb Brooks.

HCB: If you had a prepaid plane ticket in your pocket right now, where would you go and why?

JT: I guess I would go to Australia, because it’s the most expensive flight to a place that I have any desire to go to (and it’s prepaid)!

HCB: Name one item on your bucket list.

JT: See the New York Metropolitans win the World Series.

HCB: What’s your favorite women’s fashion trend/item?

JT: Sundresses.

HCB: Favorite place in the world and why?

JT: Saratoga Springs, of course! It’s the best city in the world.

HCB: Tell us about the best class you’ve taken at Bentley.

JT: Any class with Professor Leonid Trofimov. Trof is the best.

HCB: Relationship status?

JT: In a relationship.
