The snow is melting, the birds are chirping and the leaf blowers are coming in hot – its springtime – and springtime is the time for all things fresh and new. We all crave a new wardrobe, a fresh haircut, a new lavender nail color, but did you ever think about revamping your Instagram feed? For all my Instagram fiends out there (basically all of you), it’s time to spice it up, and add a little beauty, humor, or culture into your daily Instagram scrolls. Here’s the first installment of some Instagram accounts that are sure to brighten up your feed!
@thebeautydept: here’s one you all may already know of; beauty insiders Kristin Ess, Amy Nadine and Lauren Conrad share hair + makeup how-to’s, nail trends, skincare, and quick-tips and tutorials. The account’s description boasts to be “Your Daily Dose of Pretty” if you just click that follow button.
@kanyedoingthings: yup, an entire Instagram account dedicated to Kanye West “doing things”. Clever captions include “Kanye photobombing a beautiful family photo” or “Kanye feeding the meter” or my favorite “Kanye choking somebody with a hockey stick”. With 111 posts to date, Kanye is a very active celebrity, so there’s no doubt we’ll be seeing a lot of Kanye “doing things” in our future.
@chrissyteigen: maybe you’ve seen her on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, or if you don’t tend to glance over to that area of the magazine rack there’s a good chance you’ve seen Mrs. John Legend as a judge on MTV’s Snack-Off or as the co-host on Spike TV’s Lip Sync Battle. Teigen’s Instagram gives us an inside look on her marriage, superb cooking skills, weird sense of humor and life as a super model.
@dilfs_of_disneyland: with several posts every day of the hottest dads to ever set foot in an amusement park, there’s no reason not to follow this account – in fact, I’m kind of ashamed if you’re not already following.
@letthelordbewithyou: it would be a privilege to follow the lord, Lord Disick that is. Kourtney Kardashian’s beau is basically part of the famous fam and has the Instagram pics to prove it. Snaps with the sister-in-laws, pictures of the luxury he lives in, and even screengrabs of gifs poking fun at his prominent relationships. So if you don’t want to commit to following Kim or Kylie but you still want the inside scoop on Kardashian drama, Scott’s account is the perfect account to follow.
@hercampus: follow Her Campus of course! The Her Campus Instagram account has to be one of the most relatable accounts for college girls out there. Just when you’re craving froyo, they digitally satisfy your craving with a frozen yogurt post. Mondays got you down? Her Campus has a quote to relate to your blues. Posts on Style, Beauty, Health, Love, Life, Career, & More is exactly what this Instagram account has as it represents the fun that is Her Campus.
