The Biebs is Back and Better than Ever

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Have you listened to Justin Bieber’s new album, Purpose yet? If not, get on Spotify and start streaming. It’s all everyone’s been talking about… and if you can’t sing along with the roomies, then you may feel out of place.

Although his album Believe, released in 2012 was intended as Justin Bieber’s coming-of-age album, Purpose totally screams “I’m a man now”. “What Do You Mean?”, “Where Are U Now,” and “Sorry” became top hits worldwide before the album even came out so knew Purpose was sure to be a hit. You can’t go to a party and not hear “What Do You Mean?” or “Sorry” – so expect to start hearing many more hits off the album at every party you go to.

Not all of the songs off the album are as upbeat as the ones mentioned above, but they’re all amazing in their own way. Here are a few of my favorites off the album: “Life is Worth Living”, “Purpose” and “Love Yourself”; they’re slower, but still have a great beat to them and you can definitely tell there’s meaning and feeling behind them which just makes any song 10 times better.

Bieber also revealed last week on Ellen that he would be going on tour beginning in March 2016, and all the tour dates are up now, and most ticket are already on sale. He’ll be hitting almost every major city along the way. There are two Boston shows in May. So I recommend getting your tickets for either show or both depending on how much you want your inner fan girl to shine through. Living on a college budget is hard, but if you have some extra money lying around, why not spend it on concert tickets instead of paying off your college debt? Procrastination at its finest, right?

You can stream the album on Spotify, buy it on ITunes (if people even still use that), or go way back and buy the CD. We can’t wait to see what Bieber has in store for his upcoming tour after hearing the album!
