At 9:30 PM on April 5th, students gathered at the Student Center media wall to watch the reveal of the 2018 Spring Day artist.  She was featured on Obama’s “Best Songs of 2017” playlist. She has written music with Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj. She has collaborations with Lorde, Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Kendrick Lamar.  She was named “Outstanding New Artist” at the 2018 NAACP Image Awards.
