Thoughts We Had During Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life

If you are anything like me, you have been waiting for the Gilmore Girls reunion for what feels like years. You watched all four episodes Friday morning and possibly again Saturday night. Here is a play by play of the thoughts popping into our heads as we watched:

Winter

1. Reunited and it feels so good
2. “I smell snow”
3. Kirk was always meant to have a pig
4. “Super Proud Luke” is my favorite Luke
5. I wish I could eat tacos, mac and cheese, parmesan cutlets, mini donuts and tater tots for dinner
6. Who is this Paul?
7. Paul isn’t a breakfast person? AND he drinks tea???
8. Friday night dinner is not the same without Richard
9. Paris hasn’t changed a bit
10. I’m not into this Vegas business but, WOW Logan hasn’t aged at all
11. If Paris and Doyle can’t make it who can?
12. Emily Gilmore in jeans and a t-shirt??
13. Where is Jess?

Spring

1. Mr Kim?
2. I miss Sookie
3. Oh, Taylor and his town meetings
4. Forget Odette and marry Rory!!
5. Aww Luke with his shirt tucked in
6. Paris freaking out over Tristin is way too relatable
7. No, don’t tell me Lorelai and Luke aren’t happy
8. A wookie??
9. Seriously where is Jess???

Summer

1. I wouldn’t picture the Gilmore Girls spending the summer any other way
2. Collegiette April is exactly what I expected her to be
3. Rory is not back!
4. Love the Game of Thrones references
5. No no no Michel cannot leave
6. A Stars Hollow Musical??
7. How is this musical still going on?
8. Jess! Finally!
9. Of course Jess would be the one with the perfect idea
10. Emily has a boyfriend now? And he’s using Richard’s drink cart??
11. Woah woah! Not another Lorelai and Rory fight!
12. And now Luke and Lorelai??

Fall

1. Lorelai in the wilderness is just wrong
2. The Life and Death Brigade returns
3. Is this a dream?
4. Why couldn’t she have told that story at Richard’s service?
5. My mom is going to cry when she watches this
6. A Luke and Lorelai wedding is all I need
7. Where else could Rory write her book than at Richard’s desk
8. Oh, right, Dean. I forgot about you.
9. I want Sookie to bake my wedding cake
10. C’mon Jess. You aren’t fooling anyone. You still love her.
11. Eloping? But I want to see the flashmobs!
12. Emily’s house in Nantucket is perfect
13. Wait, I really thought Rory was going to end up with one of the boys
14. No! Don’t leave me with a cliffhanger like that!!!!

Now we all cross our fingers for a second season of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
