What could be better than a delicious cupcake? How about buying a delicious cupcake where the proceeds go to a great cause! The opportunity to indulge while raising money for She’s the First is here! Her Campus BC and Strong Women Strong Girls at BC are hosting a bake sale in the Mac Lobby from 11am-2pm this Friday, November 1st, and all the proceeds are going to She’s the First! Cash Only!
She’s the First is a non-profit organization that raises money to sponsor girls’s education in developing countries, which often maes them the first in their families to graduate from secondary school. All proceeds from our bake sale will be going to help sponsor girls that have the desire to receive education, but do not have the means possible. She’s the First helps to ensure, by partnering with organizations that believe in the importance of education, that the girls have the means necessary to succeed in the world, both in school and after school.
As students of Boston College, we know the value of education and the opportunities that it gives us! Help share this philosophy and grant other girls the chance to achieve the valuable gift of education. Come find us in the Mac Lobby on Friday with some delicious treats! All proceeds will be going to She’s the First. Remember, it is CASH ONLY.
