Meet Appa TL Cuties Brenna and Brendan!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

Meet our newest cuties, my Appa parents, Brendan and Brenna! After going on Appa my freshman year (shout out to Jack Roulett and Michelle Blair for being amazing leaders), I decided to do it again my sophomore year and was lucky enough to have Brendan and Brenna lead me through an incredible week in Hurley, Virginia. I’m sure that after getting to know them you’ll love them almost as much as I do. Make sure to say hi and call them mom and dad if you see them around!

BC Life

Best thing about Appa:

Brenna: The community that you build with people from all different grades and all different majors that come together for one common reason

Brendan: Definitely our ability to touch the lives of so many students in a way that can’t be taught in a classroom. From the retired coal miner you meet down in Virginia to the BC senior you would’ve never crossed paths with otherwise, Appa brings together the nal and wood, and through service, builds the house that is founded on love and supported by each other

Favorite Club/ Activity outside Appa:

Brenna: The Other Americas

Brendan: BC Men’s Club Water Polo (Wanna learn more about the handsome dudes? Click herehttp://www.hercampus.com/school/bc/9-things-you-should-definitely-know-a…)

Bapst or O’Neill:

Brenna: O’Neill

Brendan: O’Neill. Bapst creeps me out. It’s too quiet

Favorite place to eat:

Brenna: Eagles Nest

Brendan: Hillside, chillside all the way

Best meal you’ve ever had at the dining hall:

Brenna: The New England Classic

Brendan: Two sausage egg and cheese biscuits, chocolate milk and a banana and peanut butter for Monday morning breakfast

Worst meal you’ve ever had at the dining hall:

Brenna: Their pasta is pretty offensive

Brendan: Wok-away is literally telling you to walk away from the meal

Brendan: I incessantly took too many napkins and I didn’t really know what to do with them so I took them home. This has happened on multiple occasions.

Brendan: Don’t move off-campus just because you got CoRo, it’s even further away and more of an inconvenience
