5 Things You Need To Survive Finals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BC chapter.

With finals coming up, it’s time to prepare for the long, sleepless nights and the exams with topics you didn’t even know were relevant to your class. In order to pass your finals while maintaining your sanity, there are a few things that you will need:

1. Your Favorite Mug

Whether you’re a coffee addict or a tea lover, your cutest mug is a necessary accessory for your drink. A big cup of hot chocolate or a mug of passion tea will warm you right up on the upcoming chilly December days. The most important part is that it will keep you awake long enough to finish that last chapter and it can even wake you up in the morning!

2. A Cute Outfit

I fully believe in the saying, “Dress well, test well.” A great outfit does wonders. Looking your best for your finals will boost your confidence and prepare you to take that orgo final head on.

3. An Alarm Clock

Getting up in the morning is hard enough during the normal school semester.  When it comes to getting to your finals on time, you don’t want to screw anything up.  An alarm clock will also come in handy when you need to wake up early to get to that prime study spot in O’Neill.

4. Colorful Pens

It’s essential to stay organized while studying for finals. A great way to keep all your notes in order is to use lots of different colored pens. Bright colors like purple and orange will keep your studying fun and colorful.

5. Your meal plan

For those of you lucky enough to have an excess of money on your meal plan, you have the opportunity to splurge on a big meal before your final. After two hours of answering questions, you’ll probably be exhausted and hungry yet again – a perfect time to finish off your meal plan by indulging in the best of what Lower has to offer. Don’t forget to share with your lacking-in-meal-plan friends to spread the holiday cheer!
