Collegiettes—rejoice! Spring is finally here! I finally put away my big winter coat last week and switched to a lighter one and now refuse to pull it out again this year. I love getting inspiration from fashion bloggers, so here are five looks from my favorite bloggers. (Hint: follow them on Instagram for daily inspiration!)
1. Neutrals
Julia Engel looks amazing and polished in this neutral look. She is always putting together amazing, classy, simple outfits. I am going to incorporate this look into my spring wardrobe rather than going for brighter colors like I usually do in the spring. (Instagram: @juliahengel)
2. Scallops
Carly Heitlinger (aka College Prepster) is another one of my favorite fashionistas to follow. I am obsessed with this Kate Spade Talia Coat she is wearing. Her blog features great outfits for a collegiette on the go. I like that she includes mostly comfortable looks for a girl on the move. Scallops seem to be showing up everywhere this season from skirts to shoes to tops. (Follow her: @carly)
3. Pastels
Pastels and soft shades are ideal for a cute spring look. Statement necklaces remain on-trend. Bring some spring into your look with a statement floral or pastel necklace. This look by Jessica Sturdy pairs softer shades with whites to create a soft, pretty spring look. I try to stay away from wearing black once March comes around since I wear so much black during the winter. (Follow her: @bowsandsequins)
4. The Grey and Denim Combo
The grey and denim combo is so in right now! It’s such a clean and put-together look and can be styled in so many different ways depending on how you accessorize it. A staple in my wardrobe is a grey v-neck with skinny jeans and ballet flats—so easy and comfortable for class! (Follow Brighton Keller at: @brightonkeller)
5. The Feminine Blazer
This look by Aimee Song is beyond perfection for spring. I am on the lookout for a pink blazer like this one. A simple outfit (jeans and a white shirt) can instantly be more polished the addition of a cute blazer. This pink on is especially cute for the transition from winter to summer.
