Songs to Get You Pumped for Millenium Dance

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bates chapter.

Millenium Dance approaches this weekend, and I, for one, am pumped. There’s something really fun about getting ready with friends, figuring out outfits and hair and makeup inspired by another decade, and listening to music that was popular in a different time. Granted, that “time” ended only 8 years ago, but also, it’s sort of amazing that 2010 was 8 years ago. Half of the time, it feels like 2012 was just yesterday and people were freaking out because of the Mayan prophecy that the world was about to end. In honor of the 2000s, here are some songs that were popular back then to help you get excited for the dance.
