Weekly Wellness Tips: Journal for Gratitude

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Columbia Barnard chapter.

Life moves pretty fast, and college is no exception. In a typical day, it’s not uncommon for most of us to get bogged down by the stresses of the everyday – from classes and clubs to meal swipe confusion and roommate scuffles. In the midst of all that chaos, it’s all too easy to sink into negativity, even with everything you have to be happy about. Try to cultivate some extra positivity this week by taking five minutes to write a list of all you’re grateful for. Allow whatever comes to mind onto the page, from a meaningful conversation with a stranger, to the delicious Diana pizza you scored for lunch. Let the words flow naturally, and bask in an instant mood boost!
