If you’re not tired out from Thursday-Sundays festivities, or if you’re looking for something other than partying it up to get into the spooky spirit, here’s how to make your Tuesday Halloween unforgettable:
Host a Halloween Movie Night

Grab some friends, stock up on bite-sized candy, light some candles, and stream some horror (or Disney Channel Original) movies for a chill(ing) night in. It’s even more fun if you go with a theme and dress up!
Have a Halloween Bake-Off

If you have access to your own cooking space, get some friends together to create your very own Halloween treats. There are tons of Halloween recipes online, from rice-cereal brains to classic Dirt Cups. If you want to mix it up a bit, try mixing some classy and creepy cocktails or mock-tails.
The Infamous Halloween Parade

Every year in Greenwich Village, thousands of people come out in costume to march down the streets of downtown Manhattan and terrorize your neighborhood. The parade starts at 7:00 PM and is a bucket-list item for anyone who lives in the NYC area – get ready to get wild!

If you find yourself with some extra time Tuesday or late classes on Wednesday, taking a trip upstate for the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze may be more than worth it. Just half an hour away from Sleepy Hollow, the festival is full of breathtaking and elaborate displays that will make you lose your head!
A Harry Potter-Themed Tour of the Met

For a truly magical Halloween, the “Griffins, Goblets, and Gold” tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art will go through the museum’s collection and highlight items that resemble those from the Harry Potter series. Who says you can’t be festive on a Tuesday? While most people in college do not dress up for class, I personally enjoy adding some Halloween flair to my OOTD. Last year, I rocked a candy-corn sweater harder than a funky middle school librarian. This is a great opportunity for a subtle Halloween look or a simple, even “ironic” costume.
