4 Thoughts Everyone with Allergies has in the Spring

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Columbia Barnard chapter.

1. How many packs of tissues should I pack in my bag today?

Who really knows when the sneezing will stop.

2. When did they plant all these flower trees on College Walk?

So beautiful, perfect for graduation photos, but otherwise an endless source of pollen. They’ve probably there every year, I just block them out.

3. Can we sit anywhere but the lawn?

I don’t want to breathe in the freshly mown grass. Almost every lawn is closed for commencement anyway.

4. Could you please close the window Professor?

I can smell the allergens wafting in as we speak.

5. Are two showers per day enough?

Need to make sure I scrub away all the pollen!
