Though we haven’t even started Spring break yet, it isn’t too soon to be talking about what we should be wearing this Spring! The fashion world, of course, has been talking about it for months now, and below is a list of what you can expect to see in your local stores this season.

Romantic fabrics
This trend includes big sleeves and fabrics that give a nod toward the Victorians. You’ll be seeing this in everything from shirts to floaty dresses.
2. The hoodie/bomber jacket
This jacket is here to stay for 2017 but in a sportier look this time around. To spice it up, add some festive pins to give it a true 90’s look.
3. Slogan tees
Pair this cropped tee with a skirt or high waisted shorts to show off your passionate side.
4. PINK
And I’m not talking about VS here. This Spring, pink is last year’s yellow, and I’m talking bright pink. So, the next time you see a sundress you really like, or even a pair of crops you just must have, try going out of your comfort zone and opt for the pink ones.
5. One shoulder
We saw this trend this Winter with the cold shoulder sweater (and yes, they were adorable but yes, my shoulders were cold). Hopefully, the warmer Spring weather will help with this trend because now we have shirts and dresses that are off the shoulder. This is a nice trend because you can make it your own in so many ways, which I think is what fashion is all about.
6. Stripes
These stripes were done big and daring on the runway. One thing to keep in mind, horizontal stripes tend to make you look wider, while vertical stripes will make you look longer.
7. Iridescence
We also saw this trend towards the end of last year. This year though, it’s all about the colors blue, green, and pink, while adding some shine and sheer to it.
Fashion is universal and yet so unique to each and every one of us. I hope everyone is as eager to match these trends with the fashion staples I have hanging in my closet!
