On Saturday, April 29, all eyes were on some of Hollywood’s biggest stars as they strutted down the red carpet of the Wearable Art Gala at the California African-American Museum.

Not only did these celebs strut but also gave everyone life with their different looks. From Kelly Rowland’s unicorn pink to EJ Johnson’s Gucci fit that is to die for, theses celebrities celebrated art and creativity in the best way.

I think my favorite look would have to be Kelly Rowland’s pink fit. It’s so fun and different for her. Although she always looks gorgeous, this was bold for Rowland. I think she did the right amount of different shades of the soft pink.

My second favorite is EJ Johnson, Magic Johnson’s son, in his Gucci jacket. The colors of the top go well together, and the fur on the collar just puts the icing on the cake. He mixed the right amount of texture for his outfit. He was smart to stay away from too much color because the jacket speaks for itself.

Of course, Beyoncé made a scene—although she wasn’t seen on the red carpet, she was spotted inside. She wore a red Stello ‘Aurora’ gown and a headpiece made of flowers and butterflies. She looks beautiful, but would you expect less?

The last look (or should I say looks) that caught my eye were duo Chloe and Halle. They wore pleated, metallic dresses that only added to their glow. The dresses matched them perfectly: personality, shape/silhouette, length… the dresses were made for them.

These are just of my favorites but everyone looked so free and joyful. There wasn’t a “worst dressed” for this event. Everyone had a glow and it showed through their smiles and clothes.
