So I’m sure no one actually needs me to explain this simple statement: Haloween is #Hallowinning. Halloween is the best. Between the costumes and candy, every one pretty much agrees. If you are that one bad apple that disagrees, you will probably change your mind after you hear these 5 reasons.
Dressing Up
Being able to play dress up for one night out of the year? Um, yes please. Nothing is more fun than playing pretend for a night. It doesn’t matter if you’re shy or rarely go out, because Halloween is the night when no one cares. You can be anything you want. Halloween is the perfect chance to make a fun statement and step out of your comfort zone.
Candy
Someone had to say it. I mean, who doesn’t love candy corn? Ok, yeah so I might not eat the healthiest for one night (or week). So what? It is A-okay to splurge and feel zero remorse. I’m sure we all could use some sweets in our lives. We did just have midterms. So this Halloween, make sure to stock up on all of your favorites and get chocolate wasted!
Halloween Parties
It is guaranteed that someone will be having a party to celebrate. Usually, there will be music, costumes and dancing. –A triple threat. This Halloween make sure you branch out and ask around about what is happening. There will definitely be something going on this Saturday night. And we will all need a good party after that Ole Miss game, am I right?
Pumpkin Carving
No matter how old you get, pumpkin carving will be fun. Yes, its messy and smelly, but there is something so rewarding about finding a pumpkin, picking a design, literally gutting the thing, and turning something not cute at all into a super fun decoration. And it is okay if your pumpkin doesn’t turn out Pinterest-perfect, because they rarely do.
Scary movies
Honestly scary movies are not my forte (I’m more of a romantic comedy-happy ending type of gal). But Halloween is the exception. Scary movies are the perfect reason to spend a night in with the girls. Hocus Pocus, facemasks, and more candy?! What else could you ask for? Also, if you happen to go to the movies with your crush near Halloween, make sure to buy the scary movie ticket. When things get scary you’ll have someone waiting to put his arm around you right there. So convenient.
