The Crunch: Blueberry Overnight Oats

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Auburn chapter.

Affordable and simple to prepare, oatmeal is a go-to breakfast option when dining dollars dwindle but your appetite hasn’t. Upgrade that instant oatmeal you rely on during finals week with this recipe for overnight oats. Preparing the oats the night before ensures you’ll make it to your 8 a.m. on time, and without your roommate waking to the sound of a microwave.

Follow the recipe below, or freestyle the toppings with what’s in your mini-fridge.

Blueberry Overnight Oats

Yields 1 serving

¾ cup milk

½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

teaspoon salt

cup blueberries

2 Tablespoons chopped walnuts
