7 Things We’re Obsessing Over This Summer

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Auburn chapter.

As the semester comes to an end, and we prepare for summer, there are always a few things that catch our eye. Enter our “summer obsessions”…

1. Workouts that work with our busy schedules.

Sometimes we want a workout that’s really fun and challenging, but that’s not always easy to find. Or maybe the best classes in your area just don’t work with your schedule. Lately, we’ve been loving Crunch Live! Crunch has always been at the forefront of facepaced, enjoyable fitness classes, but chances are there isn’t a Crunch gym near you. However, they’ve recently released Crunch Live, which allows you to access a number of their classes right from your dorm room. It’s the bomb.

2. Being financially in-check.

We’ve all been there. The “poor college kid” stereotype is hard to escape. However, regardless of your situation now, it’s never too early to start planning for the future! Nicole Lapin is our go-to girl when it comes to finances, and her new book Rich Bitch is getting amazing reviews. Pick up a copy now, and maybe that ramen noodle diet will become a thing of the past sooner than later.

3. Blink Tattoos

Whether you’re hitting up festivals this summer, or just want a little sparkle in your life, Blink Tattoos are the perfect accessory. We know you’ve seen them on some trendy celebs, and maybe some of your friends, too. Since you’re a cool collegiette, why not join them in looking super stylish this summer?! You definitely won’t regret adding a little shine to your favorite outfits.

4. Being prepared for any weather.

While we always hope for sunshine in the summertime, we can pretty much guarantee that it will rain for at least a few days. Instead of carrying a heavy, bulky umbrella with us everywhere, we’ve been opting for a boohoo poncho. They’re way more lightweight, and we already love boohoo for their other trendy portable accessories. Ditch the umbrella this summer, and leave more room in your bag for that cute swimsuit you’re totally gonna rock at the beach.

5. Trendy Jewelry

We all have those go-to pieces of jewelry that we wear practically every day, but why not step out of the box a little this summer?! Chole + Isabel have some amazing pieces that will really take your look to the next level. Once we discovered their website, we haven’t stopped shopping (shop-a-holics beware!). They’re really good at balancing classic with fashion-forward, and we just can’t get enough!

6.  Healthy food that actually tastes good.

Honestly, what college girl isn’t obsessed with Chipotle?! We love how their products are all natural, but they still taste so amazing. Up your Chipotle game this summer by trying their tofu, or by making your salsa order from mild to medium (for those of us who are a little less adventerous). With ingedients you can feel good about, there’s no reason to stop your Chipotle addiction.

7. Her Campus (duh!)

Just because the semester is about to be over, doesn’t mean you have to stop reading Her Campus! While our online content isn’t as frequent in the summer, the founders of HC recently released a book. It’s a “guide to college life,” and is both witty and interesting. Bring HC’s book to the beach with you this summer and get a head start on preparing for next semester!
