What are you involved with at ASU?
I’m on the Bollywood fusion team on campus called Andaaz and I am also a writer for the Media Relations and Strategic Communications department at ASU.
How did you get started in these things?
I’ve been dancing since I was little and joining the team has been awesome. The team is really my family and we get to do something together that we all love to do which is dance. As far as my job, I was fortunate to find something that allows me to write in a professional setting after I looked really hard through ASU’s on campus job portals.
Who do you want to be in the future?
I don’t know what the future has in store for me, but I do want to do something that’s international and within communications or marketing.
What’s one thing you want people to know about your major?
I’d like people to know that journalism is really dynamic and not as straightforward as it may seem. It’s been a really great course of study thus far.
What do you do to stay organized?
I just take each day at a time and write out assignments and what I need to get done in a planner.
